§ 2.24.030. Rules; council approval; enforcement; authority.

Rules and regulations for the functioning and operation of the Fire Department shall be provided by the City Council. Overall general administrative responsibility for carrying out such rules and regulations shall be the responsibility of the City Manager, who shall act through the Fire Chief. The Fire Chief shall possess top command administrative authority over the operation of the Fire Department.
