§ 2.08.040. Officers requiring bonds; amount; filing procedure.

  • A.

    The City Manager, City Clerk, City Treasurer, Corporation Counsel, City Attorney, Chief of Police and Fire Chief shall execute bonds before entering upon the duties of their office, according to state statute.

    B.

    The amount of the bonds shall be two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), except for the City Treasurer, whose bond amount is established by state statute.

    C.

    All bonds shall be filed with the City Clerk except that the City Clerk's bond shall be filed with the City Treasurer.

    D.

    The City shall pay the fees for the bonds.
